To register the underprivileged from 3 April to 15 May

Maj-Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd

informs the public that Payuth Chan-o-cha's government is to begin tomorrow its second round of the underprivileged registration to enable the poor to receive public support from relevant  public agencies. The new round of this important registration is for both group of people who had already registered their status last time, and the group of new comers who have qualified for the registration.The process that aims at the extending the reach of the poor will allow the government to improve its data base on the poor and improve its attempt to bridge the gap between the privileged and the underprivileged in the country.

The most important qualifications for the target group are as follows:

1) โดยต้องมีสัญชาติไทย

 (Must have Thai nationality),

2) อายุ 18 ปีขึ้นไป
 
(Age over 18 years old),

3) เป็นผู้ว่างงานหรือ

(Being an unemployed),

4) มีรายได้ไม่เกิน 100,000 บาทในปี 59 

(Has income not over 100,000 Baht in 2016),

5)ไม่มีทรัพย์สินทางการเงิน

 (Do not have any financial property),

6) หรือไม่เป็นเจ้าของกรรมสิทธิ์ในอสังหาริมทรัพย์ตามกฎหมาย 

(Do not own any permanent property under related laws),

7) หรือหากมีบ้านพักอาศัยต้องมีพื้นที่ไม่เกิน 25 ตร.ว. ห้องชุดไม่เกิน 35 ตร.ม.

(In case of being an owner of a residence, it must not have the area over 25 squar wa, and not over 35 square meters, incase of a room in a condominium),

 8) หรือมีที่ดินเพื่อการเกษตรไม่เกิน 10 ไร่ หรือที่ดินอื่นที่ไม่ใช่การเกษตร ไม่เกิน 1 ไร่"

(Own an agricultural piece of land that is not over 10 rai, or have a piece of land that is not for agricultural purpose not over one rai).

The general, moreover, explains that when the registration process is completed the ministry of finance, later on in June 2017, will issue ID cards for those who pass the official scrutiny.The end result  of this policy, after its implementation, will be a better access by the poor, to fundamental social and economic services from relevant public agencies.
